Federation University Australia (FedUni) is a dual-sector public university with campuses in regional Victoria, Australia. It was established in 2014 following the amalgamation of the University of Ballarat and the Monash University Gippsland Campus, but its roots can be found in 1870. The university has six campuses in Victoria, including in Ballarat, Berwick, Gippsland, and the Wimmera.
The university offers a wide range of certification, diploma, and degree programs at undergraduate and graduate levels in a variety of subjects, including health, arts, criminology and criminal justice, business, education, engineering, information technology, nursing, performing arts and psychology, among others. Various short-term and online courses are also available. The university is known for its research initiatives as well and has a number of research centres and institutes focused on areas such as renewable energy, cyber security, and community well-being.

The university offers on-campus living options through the department named Fedliving. There are various accommodation options across the Ballarat, Berwick and Gippsland campus locations. The Fedliving residences have single fully furnished bedrooms and communal living areas. Laundry facilities and a range of recreational activities are available at the residences.
The main campus of the FedUni is located in Ballarat. Other campus locations include Ararat, Horsham, Stawell, Berwick, Churchill, and Brisbane. Ballarat is a regional city in the state of Victoria and has many beautiful buildings and landmarks.
